Terms
Last updated 20 August 2026
Short, and in plain words. Using Pending Desk means you accept what follows. If you do not, please do not connect an inbox.
Pending Desk reads the job-application emails in a mailbox you connect, sorts them into applications and stages, and shows you where things stand. It is a tracker and nothing more: it does not apply to jobs for you, write to recruiters, or promise you an outcome.
The service is early and free, offered to a small group. That means it may be unavailable, may misclassify emails, may lose data, and may change or shut down at short notice. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose. The CSV export exists for exactly this reason.
Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, reach another user's data, scrape it at scale, or use it to do something illegal. We may suspend an account that does any of those, usually after asking first.
You keep every right in your emails and in the applications we build from them. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you — to read, process, store and display that data to you — and nothing more. The privacy policy is part of these terms and describes the limits precisely.
The Pending Desk name, design, wordmark and code belong to us. You may use the product; you may not copy the interface or ship your own version of it.
Pending Desk depends on Google, Supabase and Vercel. Their outages become our outages, and their terms apply to your use of their parts. Google may change or restrict its Gmail API access at any time, which could limit or end scanning.
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that classifications are accurate, that scanning catches every email, or that the product stays available. Do not rely on it as your only record of a job search.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — a missed interview, a lost opportunity, lost data — arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months or twenty US dollars. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can delete your account whenever you like, from Account settings, and everything goes with it. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, or wind the service down entirely — in which case we will give notice and time to export.
We will email account holders before any material change to these terms. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pending Desk is operated, and disputes belong to its courts.
Replace this section with your actual country and state before launch — it needs to name a real jurisdiction to be worth anything.
